WorldMark Cancellation vs Exchange

I have a WM reservation that I cannot use. I am past the cancellation date to return my points to me.

Did I read somewhere that if you are past the cancellation period, you can exchange the points for a different reservation? It might have been at the Owners Education class I took awhile back. Seems like it was use the word "exchange" and not the word "cancel" and you could book a different reservation with the same points instead of losing them.

Yes, you can....call and explain what you want, have them check to be sure your credits aren't expiring and then have them help you.

Even you cancel after the deadline, you still received back credit if the room was taken by someone. You have to call back after the last day of your reservation and ask for an audit.
