  • Where will 2010 Worldmarks deposit?

I will be trying to exchange into Bass Lake or the central Oregon properties (Eagle Crest?) for summer 2010. Do most Worldmark weeks get deposited into RCI or II?

    exchanging

It is whoever you are trading through I think II would be you're best bet they are nicer properties. But i would check availability through both RCI AND II for the availability and when you bank your time make sure they give you a confirmation number for the booking.

WorldMark is one of the later deposits to RCI. Just seeing June now for 2009.

I recall someone saying that WM has disassociated from II and the prime weeks aren't going in. Hearsay but well worth looking into.

If you want Eagle Crest Trading Places gets a lot of them and then you wouldn't have to deal with the RCI bogus trade power scenario at all.

I am now so used to planning vacations over a year ahead that "late" deposits from Worldmark, only 8 months ahead, with no guarantee that I would have the trade power to grab them would drive me batty. Thank you for the Trading Places suggestion, Lawren. I will monitor when the Eagle Crest units become available in their system.

Almost never see a summer Eagle crest week in Trading places. Eagle crest owners have a deal with Worldmark that allows them to trade their week for WM credits. All of these weeks are deposited into RCI. We are talking 1500+ weeks a year and everybody books the red weeks to get the most credits out of WM. Eagle Crest units are nicer than the Worldmark Eagle crest units. Exact same buildings, but Eagle Crest completely refurbished all units 2 years ago, new furniture, King beds instead of Queens. RCI easily gets 95% of all weeks exchanged there.

Worldmark was aligned with RCI, and kicked em out for II, then cendant bought both and guess who the Worldmark board went back to

I think it was 4-5 years ago, any new resorts from that date on, are not deposited into II.
