The hotel stay reward point is based close to Rack rate. At this moment, not sure how many of hotel will be able to ask and get their rack rate.

Go to the Wyndham Rewards website:

These are some of the hotel chains that are listed: Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Wingate by Wyndham, Ramada Worldwide, Days Inn, Super 8, and Baymont Inns and Suites.

This is the program actual deal with the reward. At bottom, it shows a list of hotel brands. Did not check, but I believe most are under Wyndham Hotel chain group.

And you can click on redeem, and drive to next screen, than select the type of redeem you like, and goes to next step, than select whatever you like, and goes to next step. It will show you the point you need. That is the reward point, not Wyndham's point.

At https://www.wyndhamvacationresorts.com, if you login, click on at your service, it will talk about the reward program. The resale point will not count. But it is not a big loss at all if there is any loss.

The conversion is 1k Wyndham point to 400 reward point plus $59.

The good thing is it is 4 extra year to use it in case you can not use it.

The level 1 hotel is 6000 reward point per night, for level 1 hotel or 15k Wyndham point plus $59. for Canada or US hotel and 16000 reward point per night for level 4 hotel or 40k Wyndham point.

If you have too many developer points, it may work out.
