I've been trying to deposit my Wyndham Fairfield Glade June 2011 unit to Trading Places for more than three weeks. The Wyndham staff at Fairfield Glade who normally handle this task refuse to respond to the TPI fax. There are only two questions on the form: 1. Are maintenance fees paid? and 2. Has the unit been banked with any other exchange company? The staff (up to the assistant manager level) claim that they can not answer the second question because their software can't tell if the unit has been banked with any other company. They claim that they can't verify this until six weeks before the check-in date! I've tried talking to the several times, and finally decided that Trading Places personnel could do it more effectively.
However, Trading Places has been no help on this. The customer service representative claimed that they have had no problems with deposit verifications for this resort. They agreed to call the resort and talk to them, but it appears that all they do is fax another copy of the form to the resort. The TPI customer service representatives won't let me talk to anyone from their verification group, and no one seems to know if TPI followed through on their commitment to call the resort (or if they can call the resort).
I'm about ready to write TPI off as incompetent and try a different independent trading company, but I figured that I would ask you experts out there if you have aany advice for me.
Thanks so much,
Dave
