Points for RCI Nightly stay?

I have 9800 cancelled points that expire Dec. 31, and another 20,500 Pool credits available until 2013.


Can I combine these 2 and make a 28k RCI deposit to use either as a nightly stay reservation or standard Wyndham-RCI deposit? If I can't do one of those, I'll probably lose use of the 9800 points, right? They were bonus points.

Any other suggestions?

You can not deposit credit pool point. You have to first use them to make a reservation, than cancel it, to make it all cancel points, than use it.

For RCI nightly stay, you will have to either a Plus Partnership, or rent from RCI. If you have Plus Partnership, than you have to use the point before it expired, so you usually don't do the reservation/cancel/deposit. Instead, you call wyndham VC to check if you can get anything, than do that kind of stuff or just rent point from Wyndham ($8 per 1K).

If you do not have Plus Partnership, than you can only deposit them to RCI week side, than you can deposit them as 28k and hopefully you can get Wyndham-RCI deposit in the next 2 years or some oversupply area or some last min type of deal.
