If you are referring to the most sought after resorts within the mini Wyndham System through RCI the answer would probably be the Wyndham Resorts at Myrtle Beach, SC.

I don't know that anyone really knows as this may be more of a matter of opinion and/or preference.

Why are you asking these rhetorical questions (this one about RCI and the other thread about Wyndham)?

RCI has changed its week system, so it very hard to say what will be the sought after resort now. Used to be, I believe is Manhattan Club in New York. Some resorts in FL beach front at Winter time.

Now, MC is about 38 to 56 TPU. Same as some of the FL resorts. Not sure if they still will be sought after.

Forget to mention one thing, unlike Wyndham internal reservation, which you can rent out, RCI exchange in theory can not be rented out, and in reality, although I saw several posts that try to rent out, I also saw posts that people get their week taken because RCI found it. So if you are looking for renting it out to subdisy your cost, you should look at the other way.

With TPU, it will be a balance between how much exchanger willing to spend and what are the preception here. Before, if you have a close enough power, or you are lucky enough, you will have good chance to get it, so most people will sought for resorts that cost most (usually in pricy area, or on vacation season that most rental will cost like 300 to 500 a day if go rack rate). Now, with TPU, it may take a year to see if some TPU get dropped (so they can attract enough exchanger as well as renter.

Most big resorts (resorts has more than 100 units or plus, may or may not satisfy a person, because it does has chance that some room are not clean enough or maintained in a reasonable expectation. Although most familiar enough resorts do try to keep most of their units at a certain level. If you are planning to use yourselves, it should be based on th elocation and time slot that fit you best, not because everyone wants to be there, in fact, I will usually try to avoid that time slot. Living in metro, that everyday when travel, it could looking at highway as big parking garage, I would rather go places where I can drive a little bit quicker but still have reasonable activities to enjoy.

You can play with RCI's trip planning, and deposit calculator, or look at the sighting (now most have the TPU show) to determine yourselves where is most desirable places. At this moment, the higher the RCI give the TPU, the better chance RCI member sought after them.

Living at east coast, my DW thought the place where she will think is most exoistic are like foreign country places (Tokyo, London, France, Rome). I think MD/VA/PA/DE are great enough.

Can not remember the exact requirement to see it, but I believe you either need to be a contribute member (contribute the money), or active member (which I believe need about 30 posts), if that is the case here, you are only 4 post short.

Thank you, Jya Ning for the detailed answer.
I do not want to rent my weeks or points.
                      Nor RCI or Wyndham.
Just use it within the Family, however
we seem to have more than what I could realy use.
3 years ago when I purchased the 2 TS-s, we did not have the
waterfront cottage and non of our Florida condos either.
Yet, I could still go on mini vacatios here and there, but
made a MISTAKE WHEN PICKED WYNDHAM.
Unfortunately they do not have any resorts close...3-4 hours drive is close to me......to Toronto..

I am sort of dissapointed with the lack of answers to my thread...though.
