Yes, there will be a new benefit for Gold VIP and Platinum VIP Members with RCI as their exchange company that allows these VIP members to search and book instantly without having to deposit points from their CLUB WYNDHAM Plus account to RCI.

Will there still be a VIP Upgrade option for Worldwide Exchange deposits?

VIP Upgrade

It's not quite clear for this explanation how the VIP upgrade it supposed to work. I'm assuming that if see 2 units (studio/1 BD) available in RCI white or blue season, they will book you into the larger unit for the points cost of a smaller one, if you call in and pay the extra fee for not doing it online.

Since most of the RCI-designated seasons are "red", this upgrade feature is all but worthless, compared to the past where you actually got a larger unit deposited to search with.

I'm guessing they are not going to simply deposit the extra points associated with a 1BD value season deposit into your account if you request a deposit of points associated with a value season studio.

MC is all gone.

Probably is a bug, for Oct, search New York all, in Wyndham's portal, get 3 resorts. In RCI get 2. RCI one resort has 3 units, Wyndham only show 1. The TPU look low enough (22) to be issue.

RCI.COM down, Wyndham interface up

Here's something odd. RCI.com is closed down for their regular Saturday night shut down. Decided just for the heck of it to check the Wyndham RCI portal and guess what, it is still up? I don't have any points available on deposit so I don't know if it will actually accept changes but I thought it was pretty weird!

OK, the Wyndham RCI portal is now put to bed for the night. Here's the operating hours per the website:

You may request an RCI Deposit during the online reservations hours of operation from 7 a.m. - 11:45 p.m. ET, seven (7) days a week.

You may search and book instantly online with RCI during the online reservations hours of operation from 7 a.m. - 11:45 p.m. ET, seven (7) days a week.

I still don't get how we're able to access RCI while it is closed for "scheduled maintenance".

Why does it only let you search up to the end of May? I thought you'd be able to search up to 2013.

Actually, it allows you search for 2 years. But the time range is about 4 month of search period, so you can search start from Jan 2013, but than the end month is May 2013. You need to move your starting time.
