  • lease agreement, florida

I am about to rent my own condo, for first time in Florida.
    Not TS. Private property.
Just wondering if anybody would have a rental or lease agreement
    for that state.

    Thanks, csavargo

    Have you tried google?

There are several free legal form sites.

I am a licensed real estate agent in Florida. If you want to be sure to cover everything legal and not leave any loopholes I suggest that you either hire an attorney, or a local real estate management company experienced in rentals in your community. Dont forget to check with your condo board. They will probably have rules regarding rentals and will want to review your tenants application. You will probably owe them a fee as well.

My best advice is that if you really want to be safe, dont rent it. I dont care how careful you are and how well you protect yourself with leases and security deposits, there are things that can go wrong.

Well, that's the expert's opinion, which may explain why we are less formal here in the sticks, and things work out just fine. (referring to letting someone else use our timeshares)

            JLB

Even herein the big city (if you can call Ft Myers the big city) things almost always go well. My personal opinion is that if you expect the best of people, and give them your best, you will get their best in return

I was responding to the posters comment "wanting to cover everything legal, leaving no loopholes"

There are no loopholes left in SW FL. The banks took them all back.
