Today we were going over our itenerary for our trip to Branson - we are leaving Monday at 2am-ish) and I said to my husband....thanks again for buying Wyndham....I love it!
I love mine, too. Which Branson property will you be staying at? I'll be checking into the Canterbury in San Francisco on the 25th and am very excited!
We will be staying at the Meadows. Have fun on your vacation! I wanted to go West and see the Grand Canyon, etc this summer, but we ended up going to Branson instead. I am sure it will be awesome!
I have long felt that the Wyndham system - purchased at resale - is one of the true bargains / deals in all of timeshare. Very few systems have so many resorts, mostly high ranked, in so many areas including many otherwise un-served urban areas. Used to the max it is an inexpensive way to get some truly great vacations in outstanding units.
Although we have sold ours now, as it seems the market has changed so that renting may make more sense than owning, it is hard to find any other system or brand that offers so much for so little up front. Enjoy yours - we sure liked ours for almost 2 decades. We still try to get Wyndhams in rent as we like the resorts that much.
The Meadows is not one of those intimate little resorts, but is nice, as are almost all Branson timeshares.

When our kids were younger, we enjoyed so many wonderful Wyndham vacations together... Flagstaff for the Grand Canyon, Washington DC, Williamsburg, Branson, Orlando/Kissimmee, Fort Lauderdale, Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Smoky Mtns, and several lovely golf/lake resorts in the southeast.
Our daughter and her new husband recently spent their honeymoon at Edisto Beach SC and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas (RCI exchange) - 2 weeks they had chosen and they loved both. Our sons are looking forward to joining us for a couple more Florida winter break weeks and warm weather beach weeks before they graduate from college. They've all been bringing friends along on the drive-to vacations, for years. We've only taken one trip alone as a couple without kids or another couple/family. That was to Alexandria VA and we had SUCH a fantastic time!
Now that we will be empty-nesters this fall, we're super-excited to take more long weekends where the kids were less interested in exploring but we've talked about it... an Autumn visit to New Bern, a Winter escape to Florida added-on to visits to our mothers, a Spring stay at the beach before most kids are out of school. This will be great fun! The flexibility of points, relative affordability, and nice resorts have made Wyndham our favorite timeshare ownership, by far.
