IMHO - eBay is not the only resell market. However, it is the market where you and I can get a hold of the finally price on a TS. Few eBay TS posts are totally misleding. And it is a market where seller has very few says. It you rely on the eBay price, since TS is buyer's market at this moment, the price will tend to go down in the long run.

FF does not have ROFR, although I heard that in KHV they have a sentence in contract that can allow them to do that, will be interesting to see what they will do on other new resorts.

If you buy or sell, Tug has very good suggestion there in their sticky.

If you plan to sell DON't PAY ANY UPFRONT FEE. Remember, although most people that will shopping at eBay expect to get a lower price, there are lot of other place, where people may not have good idea what is the current resell price is, but you may wait a long long time to sell it.

You will not get VIP and PP through resell.

If you plan to buy, please make up your own price regarding how much you want to pay.

I think it maybe a good idea to have a glimpse of the complete eBay sell list for FF FSP point.

Why I add more columns

After my last post about the july completed list. One of my internet friend Mark B (basham) pointed out that without MF, it means very little. I agreed that is very important and did plan to go back to add these information back in the july list (Actually, I believe eBay's price is just for fun, it has no idea about this detail, I doubt every or most eBay bidder know that detail, since you are compete with them, so how they think is important, and I do believe most of them will just look at the final price, so the detail what you actually bid means nothing, as long as it is FSP point, points are points). I do plan to do serveral checks on the completed list for at least a year, so hopefully I could see some patten or no patten at all.

However, I found it is meaningless to use the MF list on the eBay listing. I have no idea if it including property tax (FL only) or not, I have no idea if it include FSP membership fee or not. I have no idea if it including SA or not. And some UDI may based on converted week, and the seller may have no idea at all. I sometimes think it means nothing. If you want to purchase through resell, you need to check with resort about the MF. I will post the MF based on Yahoo group.

Then I went back to check how other people did it. In the Yahoo group March 2005 data, it lists more column in a more detail way, I do think it is good idea, so I add as much as I like. Hopefully it makes more sense.

When I try to go back to update July data, unfortuante eBay does not keep that long, so I no longer be able to update them. So it is the final data, sorry about that.

2006, $155 per 1000 point including conversion a fix week (or PIC a week)

Look like due to the high gasline price, and bad airline traffic, the travel industrial will be affect in a bad way, so 2007 maybe a slow year (close to 2003). Not that I suggest to buy retail.

eBay Failed bid that has less then $1,000 final bid 5/15/07 - 5/24/07

I did not pay too much attention to the fail bid. But I believe this period is the one I saw most.

Also, I notice a new patten, quite a few ad their way with buy it now. And a lot are post card company (the company that asks owner to pay them and tell owner they are getting rid of their TS on the spot), and their buy it now price is lower than the avg market price. Will see what cause it and what happen.

It is formatted as resort name - point size - starting bid - final bid - buy it now price - closing cost - MF reimbuse - bid close date - other info

If there is no starting bid, it means someone is made a bid, but the reservation is not meet. If there is a starting bid, that means none has make any bid.

This probably is the first time I saw so many sit there unbid.
