  • What is your favorite Wyndham resort and why?

Trying to find those hidden gems in all the systems so curious what is your favorite Wyndham resort or resorts and why?

Mine so far have been Bonnet Creek in the Presidential units (the regular units aren't bad either), of course being next to the mouse is awesome but
the pools & grounds are beautiful and I've always had a great view. Valet service is nice and caller ID on the phones to ignore the sales staff.

Royal Vista in Pompano beach has an awesome beach and feels like you are in a resort in Mexico. Great units, parking garage and great views.

And Riverside suites in san Antonio with it's eclectic building and awesome location. It used to be a Salvation Army building so it's a historic building.
I liked Riverside Suites so much that I bought my Wyn points at Las Cascadas.

    So how about you?

Wyndham Waikiki Beachwalk because of the location. The resort is nothing too special but the location is awesome.

La Belle Maison. Location location and nice units to boot, also with historic appeal. I do wish Wyndham would change its checkin day policy for points reservations.

I haven't been to any Wyndham's that I can recall.....I did have reservations at La Bella Maison, but RCI cancelled them on me, and I wound up in The Quarter House, instead.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I've only been to one Wyndham resort, Kona Hawaiian Village. It is the only Hawaiian resort I have been to that actually has the feel of Hawaii with the building design and decor. All the others are just hotels with tiny kitchens and some palm trees.

Forgot about that one - definitely my favorite!

Anything in the Smokies has to be nice and I totally understand Nashville.
That resort has a nice location next to the Gaylord.

Location can make or break it for me too. Good to know.

I also love that Wyndham takes on these historic buildings. That's what I really like about Riverside Suites in San Antonio.

Sounds awesome. Too bad I live so far from Hawaii or I'd try to stay at all of them.

I agree that Kona Hawaiian Village is a very nice resort. Even the unit doors are artistically carved with Hawaiian themes.
Bonnet Creek is a great resort in a perfect proximity to the parks. Unfortunately, it appears they've added a shuttle fee recently. It was free when we stayed there. Other resorts and hotels nearby don't charge a fee for scheduled shuttle service to Disney parks.
As a Midwesterner, we've enjoyed sharing trips to Glacier Canyon in Wisconsin Dells with relatives. All those waterparks wore the kids out! Great in summer, but with all the indoor waterparks and activities, it's even better for a winter weekend getaway.

Shearwater on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. On a bluff overlooking the ocean, with every unit having at least a partial ocean view. It's a small resort (32 two bedroom units), but a gem.

We like Skyline Tower. The proximity to the boardwalk and the casinos is great. We usually book a presidential unit on the top floor which has a common area with two story window that provides great views of the ocean and harbor. A nice place to sit back and enjoy glass of wine.

I really enjoy Wyndham Pagosa Springs in southern Colorado. Large resort, older set in a small town with hot springs. Skiing 30 minutes away. Has lots of activities on site.
