Are FF Plus Partners and RCI Nightly Stays the same thing?

I was trying to find a short getaway for an upcoming 3-day weekend that I have coming. I talked to a FF VC and there was nothing available that suited us. She suggested making a RCI deposit and doing a search. I having been reading about them, but had not ventured there yet. I was told that you have 48 hours to cancel the deposit if you don't find anything.

While talking to the RCI person, she suggested using Plus Partners for shorter than weekly stays. At the FF website, Plus Partners lists hotels and not the timeshare resorts. On the RCI website, they have a section call RCI Nightly stays which says "...competitive nightly rates at top RCI-affiliated resorts."

Are these the same thing? The RCI person said that FF would need to change some type of codes for them to be able to look at these type of transactions and since it was after there closing time....too bad, (Not her exact words, but my translation).

I am just trying to get a little more insight before I jump back in with them tomorrow.

    Thanks,
    David

See page 261 of the new Directory or 201 of the 2004-2005 Directory.

Nightly Stays (access to RCI points resorts) is a feature of the Plus Partners programme. Generally if you bought from the developer you have the Plus Partners feature, which it seems you have.

That was exactly what I need to know. Page 201 in the 2004-05 Fairfield directory had all my answers. Sorry that I could not find that myself! Must have looked right over and not even paid attention to what I was looking at.

      Thanks again,

Thank you Basham for answering David's question and David never feel bad about asking a question here. I'm sure that there were several other readers of the question and the answer that benefited from the exchange of info. And that's what it is all about, right.
