I know we just recently converted two Foxrun weeks to Fairfield points back in the spring. If the week has a Fairfield contract number then you should be able to convert it to points. We went through the Fairfield corporate sales office. I had also posted this on the Foxrun group.

Disclaimer: I am in no way recommending converting weeks to Fairfield points. We got our weeks for almost nothing and they were prime weeks worth a nice amount of points. We also did blocks of conversions with Fairfield so the cost for us to convert is more cost effective than for someone who only converts one or two weeks.

I also do not know if things have changed substantially since May. Those spring conversions were the last ones that we did because I don't have the time to flip timeshares anymore.

But I got lost in there - it's not as user friendly as the glitchy II site. At first glance, I does not look as I will have as many exchage options, and I won't be able to use the points to get into Marriotts. I've only stayed in Hiltons, Marriotts, and Disney resorts and I'm little leary of trying new resorts.

Don't know why I miss this post. Standard assumption is $20 per 1000 point if you purchase resell. Since the market is up and down, so you maybe able to find some other good deal. But the purpose of convert is to give you more flexiblity.

Which site you actually comes to? www.efairfield.com? www. wyndhamresorts.com? www.rci.com?

The 1st 2 will allow you to get FF resort only. The last one is RCI, if you deposit 2BD there, I hear the trading power is not as good as deposit to II. FF site should have great inventories.

Take one of the vouchure from FF to Williamsburg, so you can check their quality in general.

Sounds like you will not get to II if you convert. Check if they allow you to get the week and let your II account VC to get from them. And check your II account to see if they can get your week once you convert or they have to let FF push to them. Maybe difficult.

If you don't care to go to beach, RCI deposit will allow you to use only 28k, so that will give you like 5 week. Or one 70k, and 3 28k, so you have chance for some better area. And give you 4 weeks. RCI quality does various in a big range than II.
