Using the RCI Nightly Stays feature, I was able to book two getways at the Manhattan Club.
Since we live about an our outside of NYC, I booked a mid-week getaway for two nights in a one bedroom for 24,000 points, and a weekend getaway of Saturday and Sunday nights for 34,500 points. Imagine, that's 4 nights in a one-bedroom suite in Manhattan for about $110 a night, including housekeeping and exchange fee. For Manhattan, that's peanuts!
The full breakdown:
Wed and Thus July 18 and 19 - 12,000 points per night x2 nights = $24,000 points
Sat and Sun September 22 and 23 - 22,500 and 12,000 points = 34,500
Also charged $49 for each reservation and the resort will charge $25 housekeeping fee.
I usually equate my points to about $5 per thousand, so 58,500 points = $292.50 plus the other fees is $450 total.
