  • Wyndham or Fairfield? Fairfield or Wyndham?

It is pretty common knowledge that Fairfield Resorts is no more, that under Wyndham Vacation Ownership there is now Wyndham Vacation Resorts and Trendwest Resorts.

So when is the rebranding taking place? I don't know anyone that refers to Fairfield as Wyndham, including Fairfield or their owners.

This is what was said on our website. I think I read somewhere that the rebranding will totally be complete within a year. Even my billing that I received in saturday's mail still said "Fairfield"

I went to an owner's update three weeks ago. The salesman must have said "Fairfield, I mean Wyndham" a half-a-dozen times. Old habits die hard.

Fairham is good. It rhyme with Beckham. Wyndham could mean FF, could mean TrendWest. Heck, it could mean PAHIO or Equivest or PSE. Each one should have its own name and not use the corp.'s name, so none think it is a special class, nd if needed, they can easily be sold to the high bidder

What prompted my question is that we were out and about last Saturday and stopped for lunch on the strip. There was one of those Tourist Information kiosks there and it still says Fairfield, as does everything here.

You would think that since Grand Desert is considered one of the premium properties that they would get it together in that town. I understand that the signs have changed to Wyndham at Bonnet Creek, but how about at Grand Desert. Considering the lower cost to change "sales booth" signs, you would think Wyndham would also go that route to get the name out.

I was there a month ago, and most of the signs around the property still said Fairfield then, including the big red ones on the outside tower walls.
