Buying more than one points package at same resort, do you save anything?

Is there any savings to buying multiple points packages at one particular resort? I know the lower the points package, the higher the fees are per point, so I wondered if I should continue to buy points at Angelfire and Kingsgate?

I love Angel Fire, and it is within a six-hour drive of home. I see us going there in the summer on occasion. That would be a nice one for adding points, but there is almost nothing out there!

Also, I got a great deal on the Kingsgate. It is such a great deal that I am concerned that the 4.20 per thousand points is a high maintenance fee. Did I do okay on my purchase? The package is 287,000 points and I got it for less than 1 cent a point.

I could be wrong, but, from what I understand, once you own enough points at a specific resort to afford the type of room you want utilizing your ARP, unless you want to take advantage of an ARP elsewhere, the best option is to purchase points which have the lowest maintenance points.

Perhaps someone with much more experience can comment on this.

I believe avg. UDI MF + FSP is around $4.75 per 1k.

The best thing about UDI is that you don't pay extra if you buy small contract in a resort, or you buy a large contract in the sameresort. You pay the same MF per points for that resort.
