I'm kinda in same boat, plus have no time or $ to "spend" 2007 FF/Wyn points! Helllppp!

If you can't use the points this year, you can always deposit them into RCI Weeks as generic (sometimes called "invisible") deposits. That will give you two more years to use them in trade for RCI Weeks reservations. Most RCI Weeks reservations can be had for 70,000 Fairfield points (sometimes 28,000 points will do; other times it takes 105,000 but rarely more than that). So 154,000 points on deposit should get you at least two RCI Weeks vacations.

There's no cost to deposit, but you'll pay the usual RCI Weeks exchange fee for each week you trade for. And you can't search online, so if you don't have another RCI (visible) week to search with you'll have to use the phone.

Where is the general area that you live? and when are you planning to travel?

Another option is to rent them.

That could be attractive also, or a combination of suggestions. eg Deposit 42K into RCI and rent 112K.

Actually if you are having trouble using 2007 points look down the road a little bit and see what you are going to be using your 2008 points for. You may need to make similar decisions but the pooling option is added.
