Do you know the answer? You seem to very angry at a concept and a industry that helps millions of businesses SELL their product without BUYING the inventory to prove they know how to market.

You have to know the ideal target audience and then have the skills to complete the process.

If anyone really want to sell their Timeshare for value ,It can be done.

You shouldn't expect someone to help you get out of something YOU yourself got into without an agreement or for FREE. I really can't understand why there is so much of an entitlement mentality with most Timeshare owners. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that many have been ripped off by "listing companies" and they think everyone is incompetent or a crook. That's not the case

So do your research about Marketing and what it means and how it can help you

You are completely clueless. You have no idea who Rikki is. He sell's more timeshares in a single year than you will ever sell in a lifetime.

      Process for Renting

I did have my renter send me money via paypal, so the transaction (both paying and moving the points) took less than a day. You already have the capital invested; you could at least cover your maintenance fees, and perhaps make a hundred or two, or three.

It seems that it should be rather simple to rent out different vacation locations...but I really don't know how to go about doing that. Would you mind explaining the process for me.

I bought mine and can't complell myself to sell for such a huge loss...I am GOLD status with 312K points...and would love to rent a couple of vacation spots to recoupe some $s right now.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! /r

        Welcome.

You pick a bad time to start the renting process. Unfortunately, at this moment, you can only make reservation and try to rent it.

Read this Frequently mentioned resale and rental websites - Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums for the advertise site. Read How to Rent Your Timeshare - Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums for set up your expectation.

As gold owner, you should have 10 free Guest Certification, the easy way is to make reservation first, then ad them using as many free ad site as possible, and pick one of the cheap ad site. Use good pictures and descriptions.

I know of three methods that make reservations
        1. pick the prime season, that marked by Wyndham as highest point required, picture yourself if you want to go at that moment, the best is the period cover a holiday. Reserve it at ARP period, try to rent it as high as possible. This is most easier one.

        2. pick at discount 60 days, you have a good fighting chance, and try to sell it as crazy as you can think. If you can pick an upgrade at 45 days, that will help your chance. Try to watch the on-line and dial in at 8:00 exact day. Usually, a weekend stay is best deal in this case.

        3. Find out the best point/rental cost ratio on area you have some idea, and figure out the most likely rental chance. Reserve that, then rent it out.

You need to cancel the reservation before 15 days mark, otherwise all point used in that reservation will be gone.

        Good luck.
