  • A simple question - Best FSP/MF deal?

Once I have some Wyndham Points in my II account - I would like to add on some less expensive MF points.

Which resorts do you feel have the best MF/points value?

I was looking at 203,000 pts with a MF of $78/month to set up II account - but then thought why not start with a smaller number of FSP/II points and add less expensive MF points to that account.

It seems I woud want at least 154,000 points to keep other expenses down, is that correct?

For a converted fixed week, I believe the winner might be a prime season 2BR LO sea gardens in waterfalls. I have a high season week in one, and even that is ~$3.8/K for MF+taxes+FSP, which isn't too shabby. A prime season week would be even better.

Does he sell these at a penny a point?
          How much is closing?
And this would come to $783 including ALL fees???

Why are you asking me? Go look at his inventory (he lists it all online in his yahoo group), and ask him.

I've purchased from Tom, and was happy with the process and thought I paid a fair price. He's not going to be the lowest possible price point. But, if he has what you want---a low MF/K deed---then it may be worth paying a little more for it.

Or, you can play the waiting game with ebay.

            Up to you.

Edited to add: even on ebay, low MF/K deeds will sell closer to (or north of) $20/K than $10/K. At least, that was true when last I was shopping. Every once in a while one slips through, but the savvy buyers are looking for those deeds.

              Because you are so helpful!

I thought Tom was a random guy - but now I have signed up for his yahoo group and emailed him....Thanks for the tip - and I can see why buying from someone like him would be good - you know all the info up front...which is extremely helpful.

I made my first points purchase from Tom and found him to be very helpful. It was also a quick process and I was well-informed along the way.

A BIG difference from other ebay purchases....

I too have bought Wyn/FF packages from Tom. He does so much business with Wyn/FF that his sales are normally trouble free and are processed as efficiently as Wyn/FF can manage.
