    Considering selling my 154k at Grand Desert

    I bought the contract on eBay for .02/pt. and now they are selling for even less than that.

    Does anyone here think the new PR level will prop up resales at all? With my luck I'll sell, and then resales will go back to .02/pt. or better.

    No, if anything PR will further dampen resales (because resale pionts can't be used to help qualify), but I suspect it won't have much effect at all.

      Why are u considering selling your ownership?
      Are you no longer getting the reservations/exchanges you want?

      Or is it related to the drop in value?

        No. In fact, I recently snagged an exchange into Kauai with 28k, so no complaints there. I just feel like I don't need all the points that I have.

          Why don't you go rent them on the wydham boards? We rented ours for this year since we couldn't get the reservations we wanted due to timing of our resale purchase at a new resort. We got 5.25 per k which is above our maint fees.

            Yes...........I'm a member of both the Yahoo board and the new Wynfield forums board and I have rented points to other members in the past.

            If I don't sell, I'll be doing that.
