I just realized I am a Wyndham Owner already.....

I have a fixed week at Bluebeard's BeachClub and I have a Fairfield (Wyndham) contract number.

Should I give that number to the closing company who is handling my new points purchase?
Or will I be given a new owner number?

But, I would think you should, in the expectation things would be accomplished faster.

Beside the Bluebeard's BeachClub, Did you get the deed you recently purchased already?

Don't know either. I bought UDI first. My first instinct is it will not help you.

However, a while back I believe CMF also is an week ownr and somehow, the Wyndham was be able to reach his account and deposit some points there as compensation and allow him to use it. So maybe they have one computer system that handles all the customer account and contract?

If it is me, I probably will call Wyndham customer relation using their website's number, and give them your contract number see if they can find you. If you have new contract number and deed is transferred to you, you can talk to them to see if it help or not.

I have owned at BBC since 2004 - My first 49K deed is going to be sent to be recorded probably today or tomorrow, it was received by the closing company yesterday according to the seller.
I will ask Janet at JRA to include my account number in the transfer letter that she will send to Wyndham with the recorded deed.... along with the 'reminder' to link my ownership with II not RCI.

Update, deed was recorded on May 2
Closing company sent to Wyndham on May 12
I called Wyndham today - May 29 - state they received the deed on May 20
When questioned about transfer of ownership time frame, was told 4-6 weeks but then said I should receive paperwork June 13?
They also were able to give me my owner number (I only knew my fixed week contract number) and told me to fax my owner number along with the fixed week contract number and the new contract number to owner services deed transfer so they would 'link' the 2 ownerships.

I feel as if I am finally making progress.
