Points roll to RCI

I am fairly new to Wydham, and I am still learing all of the things that I can do.
I am just a little confused on excess points.
Come February 28, 2009 I will have 50,000 extra points. I guess I have to roll them into RCI (that is my exchange company).
Can I roll just 50,000 points over or am I supposed to roll at least enough for a specific week?

February 28th is an odd date , what does that date represent.?

I don't know why February 28. I know they are cancelled points, but up until recently my use year ended February 7 or 28 (now they are January 31). I know that I had purchased my points in May (I have 2 deeds and they were both purchased in May, 1 year apart), so I don't know why February.

I use II to deposit my unused Wyndham points and its a great deal! I own 300K at Myrtle Beach and will get 1 week per 1 night of points at 28K per night!!!

Doing the math i could concievably take 10 weeks of vacation using my points in II. I have made deposits and used the time so its worth it.

Looked back and saw your post again.

The dates still confuse me, since use years end on calendar quarters.

Are these possibly PIC points you are referring to. New to Wyndham I wouldn't have thought so initially.

Anyway, if they are canceled points, canceled points can be deposited to RCI as points representing a week deposit. So, no you can not roll over 50,000 points to RCI, but you can deposit into RCI 42K points as a week deposit.

Best option if to break it up into 28K pt weeks. Using it to either book far in advance or last minute trips where you are opened to going anywhere (you can usually check the last minute bargains at the "Last Chance" and you will just get it for a little less as a trading fee.

We have II and RCI for our exchange in Wyndham and found that one night at 28K points get you a week in II at a nice resort. Do you have Fairshare + ? You can convert points for gift certificatres too if you have FS +

Or pick a weekend sometime between now and then, if its inside the window of discount points, (usually 30 days) you shopuld be able for a weekend.
