  • What effect does names on deeds have on Wyndham account?

When I first started purchasing Wyndham packages, I only put my name on them to simplify the transfer process. Now, this has caused me problems because my wife can't call Wyndham to get things done on our account.

If I buy another couple contracts and add my wife to them, will they combine into my account? Or, will we get a different one?

From what I have been told, it will be a different account - which can be to your advantage if you want to deposit in both II and RCI - make the next purchase a Wyn II resort with the different names and then u will be able to access II.

This is not a help if that is not your plan....

Exactly. And, you can transfer between the two if need be (though it is a transaction charged to the outbound account).

Actually, you need to ask them to put it into 2 accounts. If your name is the 1st one, she will add to your existing account. At least that is what happen to me at 2003 when I bought my 2nd TS with my DW.

On the other hand, you may want to have 2 accounts, so have her name 1st, and get an II account.

We have several contracts. Our daughter is on some but not all of them and we have them all under one account. So as long as your name is on the new deeds, I would think they could roll it all into your one account. I would make sure they know you want to add your wife to the account.

All the people on the deed are owners not guests, so as long as one of them is in the group checking in, there is no 129.00$ guest check in fee. Big deal now. Ace

I have 2 accounts, giving me access to both RCI and II, however with the new prohibition against transfers as of 3/1/09, I won't be able to transfer points between my own two accounts.
