How would you compare Wyndham Branson to other resorts like
Wyndham - Bonnet Creek - Glacier Canyon - Smoky Mountain?

When was the resort built - how long has it been since
the units have been refurbished - Are the beds soft...

Does the resort preassign units for exchangers/owners

    1BR Studio OCC:
Max 2/Pri 2, have one bath and 1 queen bed.

1BR Suites or Dlx units OCC:
Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath, 1 king bed and 1 queen sofa sleeper.

    2BR units OCC:
Max 6/Pri 6 have 2 baths, 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 sleeper sofa.

    2BR Dlx units OCC:
Max 8/Pri 6 have 2 baths, 1 king bed, 2 full size beds and 1 sleeper sofa.

    2BR Lockoff units OCC:
Max 8/Pri 6 have 2 baths, 2 king beds and 2 sleeper sofas.

Some units have VCP/VCR, whirlpool tub and porches or balconies.
Each unit has air-conditioning, Washer/Dryer and microwave.
Other unit amenities include TV and telephone. (DVD Players?)

Does the resort offer complimentary in suite wi-fi

Looking for information re overall interior condition of Wyndham Branson Missouri

First, there is no complimentary Wi-Fi. They have Wi-Fi, but there is a charge and the signal can be kind of weak. You can go to the registration center and use the computers for free.

There are actually three different Wyndhams in Branson - Meadows, Vista, and the Falls. The Meadows and/or Vista are both much better than the Fall area. Hopefully, you'll end up at one of those two.

I haven't been to any of the resorts you listed, but I can tell you Vista/Meadows are both very nice - very solid activities also. I would put the Falls in the 'average' category.

We've stayed at Bonnet Creek, Glacier Canyon, and Branson Mountain Vista. We had a 3BR presidential at Glacier Canyon. Glacier Canyon is a resort unto itself. It has several waterparks there, restaurants, etc. You don't have to leave the facility to have a great time.

We stayed in a 2BR in Bonnet Creek. They have excellent shuttle service to 2parks in DW. We had no problem getting on the shuttle, we were there during Thanksgiving which is supposed to be a quiet week but the resort seemed almost booked.

We had a 2BR at Mountain Vista. You do need a car to get around. The resort had some fun activites that we enjoyed, however, most of the entertainment is found outside the resort.

To compare rooms - Mountain Vista was a much larger unit than Bonnet Creek. The decor is also more "beachy" (is the only way I can think of to describe it). Bright colors, light furniture, more open space. The decor at Bonnet Creek is classic Wyndham (BC reminded me a lot of Grand Desert).

All 3 places (BC, GC, MV) had balconies, not big ones, but pleasant sitting areas. We were on the ground floor at BC and had nice grass space outside our room for the kids to run around. All 3 had dvd players (plasma tv at Glacier Canyon - presidential suite). Didn't try wifi, had too much to do.

There was a pool at MV, I am not sure about a hot tub. The master bath was HUGE and had a jacuzzi tub. Obviously with the waterparks, Glacier Canyon cannot be beat in terms of pools. BC has a lazy river and a great play water park for kids (not really a pool as the water is only an inch deep and shoots out from different pipes). BC also has a miniature golf course.

The staff at all places were very pleasant. We did a sales tour at Mountain Vista and the sales staff were your typical sales people, liers and pushy.

Not sure what else you would like to know, but I'd be willing to answer any other questions you have.

Whenever I see a statement like that I think, you know, everyone knows that, but no one has ever done anything about it.

I was sorting crap yesterday, to move Ole POC downstairs to a nice lakeview, and I pitched letters (from my early years) to everyone I could think of . . . Ron May and others at RCI . . . II . . . various states AGs and real estate commissions . . . resort developers and sales departments . . . the FTC . . . even a letter to Janet Reno when she was US AG.

They all said what is being said here.

So, what I always think is that it is strange that no one, anywhere, has ever tried to take the scam out of the scheme. Worse yet, the sleaziest scammers seem to be held in the highest esteem, as leaders in the industry.

Perhaps they will be leaders in their new residence in the after-life.

            Hot Spot Locator

Here's an interesting Hot Spot locator.

Not accurate in this case, but interesting.

                Oh, I'm sorry . . .

Yeah, I have been to all three Branson Fairham campuses, and in the units.

They are all really nice, comparable to French Quarter, and like most Branson resorts.

Generally speaking, Branson resorts are quite nice, most of them very much the same in that regard. I guess I thought all the regulars here already knew that.

Visiting folks visiting here, I have been in many, but not all, of them. Want me to guesstimate a list I've been at/in?

Mountain Vista is a newer campus than the Meadows, and is across the road from it.

According to DW, the interiors are much nicer than Fairham Nashville.

The Falls is by far the least of the three campuses, but not un-nice.

Yeah. Check-in is at The Meadows, then they send you on your way.

If you prefer Mountain Vista, call em and see how you do that.

If you are getting a 3 or 4 bedroom it will be in the Meadows or Mountain Vista. The Falls has only studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedroom lock-offs consisting of a studio plus a 1 bedroom. I've heard the 1 bedrooms at the Falls are rather small but I haven't stayed there. I've stayed at both the Meadows and MV. Both are nice and have indoor pools which is great for visiting from labor day to memorial day. I like MV the best, perhaps because it is newer.

Marti, I believe if you have a Friday Checkin - you will be staying at The Falls....
with a Saturday or Sunday Check-in, it is a toss-up between the Meadown and Vista

Now that there is a new post, I went back and read the OP.

Hey, come on, Bonnet Creek!!! How's anything gonna compare favorably to that!!!!

Like, oh yeah, it makes Bonnet Creek look like a dump!!!

                          Really!!!

                          Fairham Branson is nice.

Back in '99, a Fairham owner did us a favor and we returned the favor but getting them a unit at The Falls, both sides of the lockout. They were totally glazed and amazed cuz they didn't own enough to get something like that. We have been in the 3-bedroom units at Mountain Vista, and same thing. No one should really expect anything better, ever.

Maybe take one of Branson's 25000 cheap motel rooms for a week to get your head screwed on straight.

I apologize if any here took this personally as it was not intended that way.

Perhaps it is because of my frustration in being unable to even get twenty bucks for a week in a beautiful luxury Branson resort with championship golf, the contributing factor, I believe, being Branson's reputation for cheap motel rooms.

Branson reputation certainly is somewhat tacky . . . cheap food, cheap rooms, and corny entertainment . . . despite efforts to change that.
