Wyndham Vacation Resort San Francisco

Has anyone been to the new Wyndham Vacation Resort in San Francisco yet? I know it is a lot of points to stay there, but have not heard any comments about the resort it self.

First open booking dates I saw were for July so I kind of doubt anyone has stayed yet.

I wish they have it pinned long ago, so I can reserve it on this year's July's trip last year, since I already get arranged from RHC, I will not stay there, and that probably be my only chance to see it for a long while. Sorry, can not report it.

We are hoping to stay there in July. I have to wait a little while longer so I can borrow some of my points from next year since I am out of points for 2009. You have to be within 90 days of check in to borrow your own points. If I do get in, I will get pictures to share. Will probably swing by even if we don't get to stay there and check it out.

Handy trick: you can borrow future year points for any reservation within the next 90 days, and cancel the reservation. The borrowed points are returned as cancel points in the use-year of the reservation. They can then be used to book any Standard reservation in that use-year. Effectively, you are borrowing in the Standard window, and if you do it all in one day, it uses only one transaction.

The dates are moving VERY slowly. Probably because of the "cost". I'm pretty sure you won't have a problem booking.

I'm looking forward to your pictures and review David. I was thinking of adding that one to my list of "Wow isn't this a great trade! from the RCI weeks perspective."

I would like to tag this to the front or back of my July 2010 Monterey exchange if possible. My son and I really enjoyed San Francisco when we went a few years ago.

Of course there are a gazillion cheaper options if that doesn't pan out for me.

I will be staying at the three-bedroom presidential suite at the Wyndham vacation resorts beginning June 21 in San Francisco. I am very excited about staying in this resort! I had the privilege of touring it they have done a tremendous job!
