I didn't mean to hijack the other thread, but it was also about EOY. I want to be sure I'm clear, too. For example, if I were to buy 168K biennial points (in this case Wyndham La Cascada), does that mean I have two years from the anniversary date to use the 168K points? If the MF is $33/month, then the total MF for the points if $792 ($33 x 24 months)? I don't have to book full week stays, right? If this is correct, a biennial might be the best thing for me. That would make the MF/K $4.71. Does that sound reasonable?

You have only 1 year to use the points. There are ways to move the points to other use year though. But if your point is even year, you get 168k point that you can use to book trip starts at Jan 2008, and expired at Dec 2008. And 168k points from Jan 2010 to Dec 2010 .... You don't get 168k points you can use from Jan 2008 to Dec 2009.
The rest is correct.

OK, I think I understand. Assume, for example, that the 168K EOY even year usage begins 1/1/10, and I know that I want to use 48K for a long weekend at Bonnet Creek and another 48K for a long weekend in San Antonio, both in 2010. I want to save the remaining 72K for 2011. If I understand correctly, I would have to move the 120K into 2011 by 12/31/09. Otherwise, my only option would be to deposit them into RCI. Is that right?

I just got my deed today and might want to do a quick Disney trip to Bonnet Creek. Can I use my 2010 points for Bonnet Creek using the 90 day express? And if so how do I go about it? Thanks.

They will then be good to use from the date you credit pool them for 3 years. However, once you credit pool them you will not be able to use those points for ARP reservations (advance reservation period 13-10 months) or deposit them into RCI/II. (There is a way around depositing for exchange by making a reservation and then cancelling it ... points are returned as cancelled points and those can be deposited with RCI/II) There is a fee to credit pool points. Was $30 not sure if this has gone up or not.

I guess I won't use my points this year then because I was hoping to deposit some of my points to RCI to be able to get something outside of Wyndham too. I'll have to use my DVC instead and try for Bonnet Creek next year.
Thanks.

Whatever length of time you are looking for, as long as it is within 90 days of check in, and is available, you can use 2010 points for it. They will ask you if you want to borrow from next year, or pay to rent the points from WYN.
I would check availability on line first, or (if your acct not set up yet) ask one of us to.
