Average Weather for Princeville, HI - Temperature and Precipitation.

I don't believe you need AC in that island. I don't believe most resort there has one.

You should be okay in March. It really isn't that hot that time of year. I've seen all of the Wyndham resorts in the islands. The Bali Hai is one of the newer resorts for Wyndham on Kauai. It has a high point value and isn't as nice as some of the others. But, it should be okay.

We were at Bali Hai this past February (2009) and in March 2008. You do not need air conditioning. There are ceiling fans and they were more than adequate. We too wondered about it before the first trip, but was not even a factor for us.

We were there in March last year. We spent one week in a 1st floor at Bali Hai and one week in a 2nd floor at Ka 'Eo Kai. The first floor unit got a little stuffy, the second floor unit was fine due to the breeze. It's not that bad, unless you're really sensitive to the temperature.

......and they don't have a heater either! Each room has a fan just in case you need a little added breeze. September we have found is the hottest month, so it seems to us. Gary

We stayed at Bali Hai this past May and I was so very worried about no a/c. The first thing I did when we checked in was call housekeeping for a fan. They brought a brand new fan and in the entire week, we never even took it out of the box.

The resort is in Princeville which is in the Northeast corner of the island, the coolest part of the island. It is very unlikely you'll need AC

BUT, If you were staying in the southeast, (like Poipu) you'll need AC.
