Viva Vacation Club Wyndham Question?

I was looking at RCI today and saw a resort called Viva Vacation Club at Wyndham Dominicus Palace at La Romana.

I found a Viva Vacation Club website but is this a subsidiary of Wyndham or does Wyndham own a part of the resort?

What is the relationship between this club and Wyndham?

Also can you use Wyndham points to stay at these resorts?

They are separate companies..

The Wyndham branding relates to the hotel section only.. You can't book into this resort with Wyndham points.
