Wyndham Bonnet Creek Compared to DVC

I'm really looking forward to a short stay at WBC next May! I'm also a DVC owner (BCV, VWL & BLT) but bought WBC resale specifically to supplement on-site stays, particularly on the weekends. I'm glad to hear that someone is happy with the shuttle to the parks, as I won't be renting a car. I thought I'd take a cab from DVC to WBC, then use the shuttles from there. I also own a very small resale contract at La Cascada. Since San Antonio is only an hour away, it would be great to be able to spend a few days there every couple of years.

Bonnet Creek is great

We are here right now - it's almost like a destination resort, there is so much to do and the pools are fabulous. Our kids will be very sorry not to be able to spend more time here since they will be only here for 4 days next week and I know they will be at the parks each day.

We are in the Torre del Mar, and the even numbered rooms face the lake - much better than on the other side (parking lot and constrcution of another property.

As well as facing the lake, we also saw the fireworks from Epcot in our 1 BD unit last week - #460 and now we are in a 2 BD , further down the hall (toward the main building) and last night saw BOTH firework shows at the same time from Epcot and the Magic Kingdom, from our balcony. All that while the building lights reflect in the lake, too. -- wow- what luxury!

There is a pool right here, withthe water slide, 2 large pools and lazy river by the main building and another pool complex and lazy on the other side. There are 2 new towers going up and word is that there will be another pool complex there....

Are the pools heated? I was just in Kidani this week too and the pool was not heated. I hope the BC pools are. Floridian blood is very thin.

You got a great price, it is not equal to DVC resorts but just as enjoyable in my opinion. Enjoy your vacation.
