Ski Planning questions for 2011

I'm working on Ski plans for New Years 2010 and into 2011.

I own 350,000 annual points at Bentley Brook.

1) Is a reservation for 12/26/10 to 1/2/11 made using 2010 or 2011 points or both?

2) Can I make that reservation on 11/26/09 - 13 months ahead? Or only on 12/2/09?

2) Can I make a two day reservation 13 months out? I only really want Sun and Mon nights of MLK week - Jan 16-17 2011.

During ARP period, you can only make 3, 4 or 7 days reservation. It is from the starting of the period. So call at 11/26/09 (or 11/27/09? You can use on-line the exact 10 month to figure out if it is 26 or 27), I will call at 11/26/09, and in ARP period, mostly likely you will get a whole week inventory, so it will be using the point from starting date. In your case 2010's point.

If you did not make reservation at ARP period, it depends on the inventory, if one contains 5 days (say from Sun to Sun start from 12/26/2010), the other is from Friday to Friday (1/1/2011), than the 1st one is 2010 points, the 2nd one is 2011 points. When you make on-line reservation, they usually will tell you if it has to be made by two different period, and they usually will charge you 2 HK fee if that is the case.

Until they upgrade their system to make it true day to day reservation and inventory, we prob. will see it for a while.
