  • Free timeshare. Chetola Resort at Blowing Rock wk 1

There comes a time in your life when you must take measure of your assets and my wife said I have to many So, Free to a good home!!! we are giving our week 1 (Jan) at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock away it is a 1800 sq foot 2 bedroom, 2 bath, whirlpool, fireplace, sofa sleeper, fully
equipped kitchen, washer/dryer; close to lake, Recreation Center, Timberlake’s Restaurant, hiking, Estate trails, and skiing.
But yes there is a catch, you must pay the closing cost about $700. Could be less if you do not do a title search or title insurance.

I don't understand Chetola is a 5 star, gold crown Resort. I am just trying to keep the wife happy. This is one of North Carolina nieces resorts. Closing could be as little as $300.MF's run about $700.Per Year And Free .

Week 1 is a tough week to unload if it's not prime beach/warm or primo major ski resort area like Vermont, Colorado, Park City, etc. And FREE isn't really free, it's a continuing obligation to pay maintenance fees, which is why you are willing to give it away for free.

Your resort looks beautiful but Week 1 is after the holidays so kids are back in school. It's not warm enough to fully enjoy the area, and the hill there isn't attractive to many families with college skiers/snowboarders that are still off in January. As a result, you actual user market is small, and the "bang for your buck" in terms of trading power is probably not that high. Sorry for the bad blunt news, and that is just my opinion, but that's why I wouldn't take the week.

You should contact your resort to see if it will take the week back, maybe for a fee.
