I grabbed 2 weeks at the Westin Ocean Resort Villas in Maui thinking we would bring my Mom. DH has since decided we want to take just our family, so now I am wondering, how bad of a replacement week will I have to trade with? I am not sure it's worth it. I used my best trader (July 4th week) and I hate to now have some week to trade with no trade power. The weeks are for Dec. 2010, so how long would I have to use my replacement week or however that works? TIA!

II doesn't 'punish' you like RCI does....whenIi have had to cancel, my week has had the same trade power as the original.
However, you only have one year from the time u cancel to use the replacement week. So if u want to use it for the month of June 2011, you need to wait until July 1, 2010 to be able to use it in June 2011.
Be sure to cancel 60 days before the use in December, otherwise you can only use it within a 60 day window for one year.
Hope this helps....
