Finally got the Hyatt Wild Oaks Resort!

After a few years of trying I finally got a 2 bedroom at the Hyatt in San Antonio. We used to switch into Disney but since those days are over ... the Hyatt was the next best exchange for our family.

We own points at Disney so we will still be going to Disney.

I don't know why my exchange resort has such a hard time seeing the Hyatt in San Antonio but it does. I was glad to see it this week and the check in day is my birthday August 28th!

Looking for any reviews of this resort!

In the future, if you're looking again for Wild Oaks or any other Hyatt property, please contact us through here: HyattVacationClub : Hyatt Vacation Club You have to join to post, but there's no charge.

This way you can post a request for a direct exchange with you. Maybe you can work something out with an owner who cannot get Disney.

I changed my date today with a check in of Friday August 27th.

I joined the yahoo site you suggested. Thanks. DO you offer personal exchanges on the site. I am not clear what it is about. Can I post an Interval week exchange for Disney from someone?

You are asking 2 separated but related questions, so I'll give it a whirl.........

1. Yes, we sometimes do direct exchanges between/amongst ourselves; rentals, too.

2. I think you can quietly exchange an exchange you have (via an II certificate), however, no money can exchange. Someone please verify what I said in #2. Thanks.

Need to ask: Are talking about a Disney Vacation resort or some place in the Disney area ? This must be an exchange coming soon DVC no longer exchanges in II.

Sorry to confuse you... I own at Disney already so I will be using those points for my own stays.

I also own another property that trades into II. This resort can get some nice exchanges into Hawaii etc. I guess I need to secure a Hawaii week and offer it up for an exchange for a Disney week. I saw an exchange classified on tug?

Thanks for your help. I am only a few years into this and I am still learning the ropes.
