I received an offer today for an accommodation certificate.
I will post as follows - please quote and then enter your info.
We might as well keep track of these offers and maybe help someone with the same ownership as us.

And this year, it is telling you to go online and follow the directions to deposit - and NO CODE is given on my mailer!

Do you only get these if you have a deposit with II? I saw your two pictures on Facebook so could read the text but still not that well.

We have two accounts now with II which they told me I can combine. I hope it's true. We aren't renewing RCI as we don't use it. One less thing to worry about.

You should receive this from II from the account # that u have your Marriott ownership in.
I do not know what ownership is in your second account - u would only get the mailer for that account if the ownership is one that II is offering an AC for.

I also got this mailer last year for my ownership at FWM Fairways of the Mountains, Lake Lure, NC.

I did not get it for IPV Island Park Village even though in the past, this week was offered an AC.

You should receive this from II from the account # that u have your Marriott ownership in.
I do not know what ownership is in your second account - u would only get the mailer for that account if the ownership is one that II is offering an AC for.

I received an important message from II today that I have an extra week's vacation if I deposit MDS and MM1 (both 2 BDR units) by June 20. I don't even own MDS anymore.

I had two offers to add the Maui Sunset to II. One gave a bonus week too but you had to sign up for the regualr rate for 1 year or for 3 or 5 years at a special rate. I took the 2 for 1 week without the bonus week and it is already taken care of as I called them today.

Thanks Pat. I am going to do the same thing and lock off but will keep the fixed lock-off unit instead so get two more weeks for the exchange of a 1 BR unit. Not a bad deal.

If you use the AC account, do you have to pay the maintenance fees too or just the exchange fee otherwise, what is the advantage? We had several AC certificates over the years but we threw them out. Since I read the forums now, I know that I should have given them away if you don't have to pay the maintenance fee. I wonder how many people do today what we did in the past?

I didn't talk to a Marriott desk but a general desk because I was dealing with the Maui Sunset. I got a call back later and she was a customer service rep. I had to ask her if she knew anything about the Marriott going over to an internal exchange system. She didn't believe so but there are some changes coming that we will like so now I am even more curious. She couldn't or wouldn't give any further details. I asked her too if my deposit is safe in case the system does get changed and she said yes.

How do you feel about that?

The last few weeks, I have had a lot of calls with the MRPs people as well as MVCI and II and I can only say that everyone is very helpful but getting through to II was very difficult. This is why I had a call back from II.

I just recently got an ac offer for my next years KCR2 resort. I get these all the time from II, but they've been shortening up the lead time on when they will offer them.

I guess my Marriott weeks aren't in high enough demand as I've never gotten an AC offer for any of them. (CH sport, BeachPlace Plat., OceanWatch Gold).

BUT What do you mean that there was no code on the mailer??

Mine did have a promo code : BONUSWEEK

Here is the difference between two deposits with and without an AC offer.

With an AC offer.






Without an AC offer.

So according to this posting from OY. You can see if your week is being offered a AC by trying to deposit it. If the final screen is has a promo code box on it, you are being offered a AC if you know the code. BUT if the final screen doesn't have the promo code box, II is not offering an AC at this time.

I read the mailer 5 times and could not find the code. I have had codes before - and also, in the fine print of mine - it did give the date range...maybe because the date range covers ALL of the Aruba Surf Clubs Platinum season - no week is excluded - and at Newport Coast, only certain Platinum (and some gold?) weeks would be offered because of the very loooong Plat season.

Let me see if I can do a fake deposit.....BRB

You should have gotten an offer for Marriott BeachPlace Towers Platinum especially now that they seem to be offering for the winter season....check OY on the Marriott Board and see if others are getting it and then call.

I am hoping for an AC for Marriott Branson.
