I got an offer for my 2011 Pono Kai week...Jan-April, deposit by June 20. I usually get it for Summer weeks. I'm going to wait and see if they come up with a summer or holiday offer.

Received an offer for Landmark Holiday Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, FL, but we are taking the Grand daughter there over her 2011 Spring Breach. It is in middle April - the week before Easter so that should be a great time.

Interesting observation

Are you seeing a pattern here? All deposits have to be made before June 20. The Marriott is closing their sales offices on June 17 for three days and after that date there will be no more deeded sales. I heard this statement several times while on Maui and numerous other people have heard this too.

Is II trying to get as many weeks they can in their inventory?

This is so bizarro - we own summer weeks at Marriott's Ocean Watch in MB - and ever since they went to the postcard mailing system - NADA. Before that - every time I banked (for either week), I received an AC. Not sure what to make of it......

Just saw this on the Foxrun Yahoo Group

After closer scrutiny of the small print it looks like you have to use the
promotion code of: BONUSCERT and it says (in very small print): To be eligible
for this special offer, you must deposit your week no later than 29AUG10,
and
the dates of the week you are depositing must fall between 21APR11 and 22JUN11."
This means that weeks 16-25 qualify

I normally get the same off for my Fairway of the Mountains week 17 & 25

So it seems that II is targeting the next group - spring weeks - the last "big" promo was from Christmas week 51 thru Mid April

So maybe there is no real method, they are going by the calendar and we haven't seen the summer offers yet.

I called II about week ago and asked. They gave me the info verbally and today I received the mailer.

I have a 3BR float week.

Deposit by August 29, 2010

They will give AC for either 1BR, 2BR or 3 BR deposits. (nice I will split up my 3BR and be able to deposit 2 weeks).

They will give AC for weeks from May 26, 2011 to June 22, 2011.

Another odd request - shoulder season - you would think they would want early July.

Just received offer for a AC for my Ridge Tahoe units in Lake Tahoe.

We already have one that was issued to us because of bad service from II. It ends Oct 14,2010 but doesn't matter because we didn't renew end of June after dealing with our offers from II for two for one offer then they wouldn't except our renewing at the rate promised.

Called one last time and dealt with a young lady {Management} just before leaving for our July 4th week in Tahoe. Said she would handle it and get back to me that day July 1st and no call back.

Now we come home had find another AC if we make deposit by Aug 29,2010. They want the Ridge for Apr 21--June 22,2011. [Bonus Code is BONUSCERT.] They must figure we would have to pay for a one year membership to except this offer!

Funny part is there still offering after our membership has ended and I have had four e-mails from them and not one fixing the problem. Also well at the Ridge we sold our Naegle unit to another owner so now only own one unit and would never deposit it.

Maui Ocean Club Sequel, 2 BR fixed unit for week 12
Have to deposit by August 29 too. This is the second time as the other one expired in June around the time the new program was introduced. I will never use it because I want request first only and even more so now.
