What a nice surprise -- booked a Getaway (ok, it was annoying that I had to do it that way because they wouldn't extend my A/C by four days, but I digress). Turns out there has been a three day sale - book a Getaway and get a bonus week in your account.
I haven't seen it in my account yet so can't play with it to know what its limitations really are. The Getaway cost just a few dollars more than it would have to use the expired bonus week, so I'm happy. I am guessing that worst case it will work in flexchange but maybe not see everything. At least it's good for a year.
There are some good deals on Getaways in the short term window (30 -60 days), so if you are thinking about taking one or booking one for a friend, today's the day to book it.
