What are the hardest DVC resorts to trade into?

Which of the DVC are the hardest to get into? I am looking to go in September and would love to get a two bedroom at the Wilderness Lodge if possible. Would this be possible during the flexchange period?

Put a search in for all 5 DVC resorts NOW - there are Sept sightings every day....in the past OKW came up most often with 2BRs, then Saratoga ....but it is possible to get any of them.

What are you using for bait ? That is, what are you exchanging with ?

With my Hyatt I have gotten the following: 2 bed OKW, 1 bed SS, studio & 1 bed Boardwalk and studio at the Wilderness. I've seen the rare Beach Club Villas, but could not go at the time available.

Hyatt pts for exchange :
Studio = 430 pts.
1 Bed = 870 pts.
2 bed = 1300 pts.

had to throw back) an OKW /2 bd.with my hotel studio, week 27, Martha's Vineyard, but it was within the 45 day period.

Here's a breakdown of DVC units by resort. The 2nd figure is potential total units if 2 bedrooms are used as studios/one bedrooms instead of 2 bedrooms:

VWL 136/181
BCV 208/282
BWV 383/532
OKW 531/761
SSR 828/1260

The Villas at Wilderness Lodge is the smallest onsite Walt Disneyworld DVC resort. I think these figures are pretty close. The first figures are direct from my DVC Member handbook (except for SSR). They keep enlarging SSR, so I'm not totally sure how big it's really going to be when they finally get done with it.

Well I want to use my one of my Bluegreen resorts as bait. Any suggestions as to what would have the highest trading power? Does that really matter as much when I get inside the flexchange window?

Yes, quality matters even within the 60 day window....have you EVER seen DVC with one of your units...if so, you should be okay....

Well, I can't see any yet, because my II membership hasn't gone through yet. I've used RCI, but I was just trying to get some preleminary info as to what I could realistically expect to get with my Bluegreen collateral in II. I guess the answer is that I have to wait and find out what properties my week will allow me to see.

Why not start another thread - "Who has traded Bluegreen into DVC - what resort did you use?" and ask the particulars. Quality is a big issue with DVC - I know SFX exchange company only accepts certain Bluegreen Resorts, not all, for deposit....meaning the quality is not equal for all BG resorts....give it a try.
The question for you is not which resort is the hardest to get so much as what BG resort will pull DVC.
