    Nice offer BUT we will have to see how restrictive the AC is.....the last one several members were given were restricted to the grid EVEN within the 60 day flex-change period.

      True. They really work best for off season weeks. There are still some shoulder season weeks, like May, that you can use it for. I love Aruba in May.....I get the beach to myself, well almost.

        Mine are like this and are virtually worthless. They were deposited in my account for 2 getaways I had purchased.

          Trust me, Aruba was NOT on the grid - and that is more point, before, if you were within 59 days, you could use it for EVERYTHING - I tried to use one last week for an exchnange and could not get it - had to use a deposited week and that was within days of check-in.

          I also tried to use it for sightings of the Marriott Custom House in January for DD - same thing, only the grid.
          A friend Lisa tried to use it for Hawaii with-in 10 days of check-in....nope, she even called and they still said NO!

            So they are obviously different then the AC's you get for depositing a week with them?

                    It's on the II site, on the top righthand corner of the exchange page. Also, if you click any week on the exchange board the offer shows up.

                      Okay, I am now officially aggravated. On the top RH of my Interval page, it offers $25 off a Getaway. Under Offers and Specials, it offers $25 off a Getaway.

                      I have a 2br July week in Williamsburg to deposit. II sent me an offer months ago where they would give me an AC for a SPRING week. No offers for a summer week...although I know at least one other owner who got an AC for a summer week at the same resort.

                      Today I called and asked for an AC for this week, and the guide said, "No, your offer is $25 off a Getaway." I said, "I'm not happy, and my membership expires this summer. I have this week to deposit. Do you want to check with a supervisor to be sure that you can't give me an AC?"

                      She went and checked and came back and assured me that my best offer was the $25 off the Getaway. They will not give me any other offers. Period.

                      Interval makes me crazy. It seems like everyone else has a totally different experience with them!

                          That's my "offer" too. 25.00 off a getaway. I never rate with II...but that's probably because my account was originally set up with WM (credits/points) Hard to pin down a week to ask for that way.At least you got the goods and are willing to give it to them.

                              That is so weird!

                              If it makes you feel any better, you might actually be better off with the offer of $25 off the getaway. Seems no one is able to use the AC's that they've been giving with these getaway offers.
