Noticed they now have regular, gold and platinum memberships.
My gold is up for renewal soon - looks like $50 off getaways, free Guest Certs and a handful of "other" things.

But, don't see any mention of cost.

It actually looks interesting, and might be worth it, depending on how many getaways/guest certificates you use a year. Also, looks like Platinum members are going to get first shot/special offers at getaways....

Does upgrading to Platinum give you any trading advantage?

I have been a regular II member for about 9 years. I have often wondered if purchasing an upgraded membership gives you any trading advantage?

In my limited experined with Interval Gold, no.

We have a corporate membership through one of our timeshares that is Interval Gold. Those same weeks also appear in our personal, regular account. They both pull the same exchanges online.

Now, would it be an advantage if we were to make an exchange request rather than an instant exchange online? I can't say for certain but, my instinct is to say no, it doesn't matter.

What bothers me about these "upgrades" is that no matter what you buy into, they will have to find something else to top it in order to sell you something new. What will they offer after Platinum - double Plantinum?
