  • Where do I find an AC cost?

I'm trying to find out the cost of an accommodation certificate in a friends account. (My account has never seen the likes of one)

If I click on details-it shows me the restrictions of the AC but it doesn't list a cost. I also went almost completely through the booking process-stopping when the next window was confirmation. In the payment window-it did NOT ask for any payment or credit card. How can I find out how much it is?

Additionally-it has a grid. The AC expires 6/8/11..I can search without the grid up to 5/10/11-can I assume that I can "gain" a grid less day everyday to 6/8/11. In other words-tomorrow I could search thru 5/11..and then 5/12....etc?

    Thanks for any insight.

The cost is usually printed on the certificate, different prices dependent on the size unit you reserve. I would think it would be on the payment screen, except maybe if it were for cancelled or transfered deposit where it was already paid for??

My experience with ACs is that studios are 199, one bedrooms are 249 and two bedrooms are 299, and then there's tax on that, or at least here in Canada.

And yes, they typically more or less can be used for anything within 45 or 60 days, I think it depends on the AC. So yes, you should be able to see a day further each day you go on.

      Hope that helps.

I don't know if they even receive certificates. This is an ongoing thing they have with their (Welk) developer purchase. They have one in their account every year...which usually go unused. My friends really have no clue-this is why I try to help them.

Yes. These are the prices I quoted them based on other peoples experiences...it was just weird to not see a screen asking for payment-I was too chicken to push through to confirmation since I was just playing around trying to get the cost to show up.

Good on the grid thing-that's what I was hoping for. We know where/when they would like to target-but I need that grid to fall off in order to have the opportunity at a larger unit.

Not all current A/C's lose the grid during flextime. Check to see if you book for April if the grid goes away.

On contractual bonus weeks, the fee has been the current exchange fee---tho there could be a difference. There should be information in the contract package they received when purchasing the timeshare.

Ahhh! This makes sense now. When I asked her what she had paid for A/C's in the past-she said it is the "usual" amount. I know I have only facilitated regular week exchanges for her in the past so I thought she was confusing exchange fees with A/C fees-but it must be the same amount.

                Thanks Tony!

Have her call II, give her account number and ask.
