I've just logged into the Interval website and I can't find any information about Flexchange program that I've heard about. From what I understand it is reservations that are less than 60 days out. But how does it work? Do those reservations automatically come up? Is it a separate search than the regular search on the website?

Flexchange
Flexchange is just an exchange within the 59 coming calendar days. Your unit can see all availability at this time, even the Marriotts and Disneys if they have availability.
Just go in like you are doing a regular search and cap your dates. Today you would search from June 8th to August 5th.
I currently have a cancellation replacement week that can only be used in the Flexchange period. I believe a lot of Accomodation Certificates are also limited to Flexchange as well.Lawren

If you deposit a unit into II late (within 45 (maybe 60) days of checkin) II will give you a late deposit week called a Flexchange.
They can only be used to echange for resort locations where the checkin is within the next 60 days. Also you can not do an ongoing search (computerized). So if you want to see if a what is available, you must call or look online yourself for available locations within the next 60 days.
Hope that helpsBill

Originally posted by dshepWhen you say that you can see "all availability", does that mean all available units that will trade with your week, or ALL units even though outside of the 59 day window they may not have shown up for your particular week?
Only everything within the 59 day window. All the rules of trading power, quality, VEP get tossed during that timeframe with II.
Just FYI not "EVERYTHING" shows up on-line with II. If you are looking for anything in particular it pays to call them directly, daily.Lawren

There is a concise summary of the flexchange system on page 11 of the new (2005-2006) II directory. In essense, weks deposited in the 59-14 day period prior to occupancy date are flexchange deposits and exchanges for these deposits (and some A/Cs) must be made within the 59 days to 24 hours prior to occupancy.
