Hyatt Newbie -- need advice on II

I have a Hyatt timeshare with 2200 points, which I have deposited into the Interval International system. I have trouble understanding their system, though, and the best way to structure my request.

I would like to exchange into a timeshare in British Columbia for August 2012. We use our timeshare for family vacations; my preference is either a 3 bedroom unit, or a 2 bedroom unit plus a studio or one bedroom. There seems to be no way to place this kind of request, and no useful suggestions on how to get what I want.

The other question I have is whether it's better to put in a reservation request with II, or just check daily to see what's available, so that I can then book the number and size of unit(s) that I want?

Put in a request in advance for sure.

If you are having trouble figuring out how to place the request, call the Hyatt desk at II and they will help you. Sorry, I don't personally know how to set up your request, I just know you should call.
