The only way I would do it is if I was getting TPU. I just keep seeing this 5 and 6 point stuff and want access to it! GreyFal has told me that I should have access to the direct RCI site, and have access to TPU but I have been unable to figure out how to do it!

Actually I don't think you need to buy RCI points cause I believe and the BG peeps can correct me if I'm wrong that you should be able to see the RCI points inventory thru the BG portal unless you have to do some kind of direct purchase to see that inventory. Not sure. Boca & Grayfal can tell you better since I don't own BG. I do know I can see both weeks & points with my HGVC ownership and it was bought resale.

Your right, I was looking at the weeks side of things. I do not really like the point side of the BG portal. You have to adjust your nights stay, etc, etc to much work. From the sounds of it I may have no choice though.

The stuff you're seeing thru 2013 is weeks inventory. The points inventory is only visible til the first week of July at this moment or 10 months before check in. That's the negative about RCI points but for me it's not been a problem. For others following any school calendar it might be an issue.

Ahh, so what I have to hope for is that when the points inventory becomes available, it shows on the weeks side of my BG portal. Not optimistic about THAT happening!

Unfortunately one of the negatives about these corporate portals is that you don't see those killer deals close in. You'll be paying the full crossover grid number of points. You might want to get a cheap biennial lockoff that gets decent TPU's to get these deals. I know, I know enabling again.

Yeah searching points is a pain in the -** but there are some gems in there. I usually search by state but you can search all Canada in one search since there aren't too many points resorts in Canada. It's not that big of a deal once you get the hang of it and know what you're looking for.

Unfortunately I haven't been following Canada. Maybe Lawren's been posting them and I hadn't noticed what they were. Have you tried doing a search to see if it's documented here somewhere?
