$300-$400 increase in Getaway overnight???

I have been watching 2BR Orlando Marriotts a couple months now. Oct 12-19to purchase for a friend.

Overnight the cost of the the Marriotts went up from $300-$400 depending on the resort. Huge increase.

Anyone else watching getaways and see the same?

I haven't really followed them but $400 is still a good price.
They should probably book it before it's $500.

I believe OP meant the price has increased by $300-400 each NOT for a total of $300-400....so what was $400 is now $700-800.

But no, I have not been watching.

I can't imagine it's for Food & Wine festival. October is low season in Orlando, well it used to be low season but now with Halloween Horror nights, the Food & Wine Festival and Mickey Not so Scary Halloween party it seems to be becoming more popular.

Correct and increase.
Example: I was watching Harbor Lake. Was over $1,000 when I started to watch. Dropped down to around $600 and is now $950! (rounded)

Yikes! That is quite the increase! It will most likely come back down if they are not booked at the higher prices. I would keep watching it.

I was there last October, and with all that now goes on that time of year, it may be that there is more demand then previously.

Getaway prices have been crazy. My family was watching prices for May for Grande Vista and decided to book and then 3 days later Interval had an unbelievable special on Grande Vista, something like $247 for a 1 bedroom and $330 something for a 2 bedroom. My family members were kicking themselves for not waiting longer. I think the fall prices will come down - just watch them carefully everyday.

$927 is a mad price. Seeing them at $572 for a 1 bed aswell.

I have the facility of some reduced priced but Marriott doesn't let us. PM me for assistance, I can look at what savings I can try and find you.

Thanks for the offer....I'm going to hold out for now. We have been exchanging and buying getaways for years for October. Always managed to get 2 bedroom Marriotts in the $550 range around June. Plenty of inventory. So....I'm just going to keep watching. Worse case.....I'll try an XYZ off of my exchange for her when October opens up for that.
