Periodically members receive discount offers like 2 years for 1 or 3 years for $99, etc.
They often seemed tied to resorts with specific managers or developers.
Are these promotions something the resorts worked out with II to offer members incentives/discounts for using II or is it something that II comes up with independently to encourage membership and/or deposits from certain members?
It seems like WorldMark always has 2 for 1 offers. Even before the Destination Club Marriott members never received any of these offers. Non-SVN Starwood used to get them periodically but haven't in a while.
