  • Ongoing searches question

So I've gotten a few good exchanges now through II and am in the processing of setting up my first ongoing request. My question is whether or not it is better to set up one massive search, or multiple searches.

For example, I am looking for a unit in Canmore, AB for the week encompassing June 12, 13, and 14th for my convocation next year. If I put that in as a request, and then also put in say specific resorts in Ontario for May, and July to September on the same request is that going to be a problem? My concern is that if it matches the Ontario unit prior to the Canmore, I will have to re-do the Canmore search, and will go to the bottom of the list.

My gut tells me to put these in as separate searches, but want to confirm. I hate the idea of paying 3 or 4 different exchange fees in advance, but I really don't want to stay in a hotel out in this area if at all possible.

Put one search in for your graduation weekend 2014... If you have 3 resorts at least, that will be fine...if there is only one resort and one set of dates, add the same week in 2015 or as far out as u can go with the request. I would also use your "strongest" deposit (good week deposited 6+months out) for this very important request.
Then put in a separate request with the large date range...and let it role.

If u put them all in one request and 6 months out u get a May week, you will be at the bottom of the barrel for your special weekend.
