I thought it sounded like a great deal, gives flexibility for a reasonable price..

I did do a retrade with a confirmed 1 BR for a 2 BR unit with a better checkin day paying the exchange fee again as I did not have E-Plus. Still worth it for me and happy to be able to do it online by myself without having to call II.

Somehow I did not know about retrade...still don't. So I purchased insurance for my last trade. My dh was hospitalized and we lost the exchange. Waiting to hear from the insurance company II uses, but it appears that once someone has had a transplant insurance will not cover...we'll see. In any case, this e-plus sounds good in our case.

OK, so this only works for online inventory, right? Would be great if we could keep an exchange while still hunting for something else using an ongoing search against the same deposit...

You can call II and have them search for you, but don't think you can put in a request.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Ok, another question about this... if I pay for E-plus, and then need to cancel an exchange, what happens? Is E-plus only good for things I can grab online before I cancel? Or can I cancel and then get a free next exchange?

I have a cancellation week that will expire in October.
I put in a search for an exchange in September that I already have confirmed with another week.
If my current search matches with the expiring in October week, I will then retrade the confirmed week to something in March 2015 when the week is set to expire......
Hope this strategy works as I just can not use this cancellation week before it expires in October.

I love how spell check keeps correcting retrade to "regrade". We need to teach it " our language"

It is likely that I will use the confirmed week, so I am ok with the eplus option.

NO
I don't think it will work like that. YOU ARE CORRECT
I think even with eplus you will find that it won't let you book anything beyond the original expiration date-October.
THAT IS CORRECT
I don't have anything now to test it with but if you decide to try it, report back.
Sorry to confuse everyone.....
