membership difference?

What is the differecne between an individual membership and the one they call interval preferred upgrade and membership combination ?????

1 year 3 years and 5 years are all the same, i-e no special if you take a 5 years membership?

II has 2 memberships
1. The II membership which allows you to trade your unit for another. You belong to II with this membership.
2. The gold or preferred membership is an add-on to the II membership. It has several, very small enhancements to the regular membership. The biggest reason to have it is the $25 discount of getaway weeks. BUT most people don't find it worth the money.
