Deposit a Intrawest Week which was reserved thru HGVC

I am a HGVC owner who would like to use II. I own a Hiton property in Orlando. Since we can reserve a Intrawest week through HGVC, could I then deposit that week with II. Would this work or not?

Nice try but NO you can't do that.

As a HGVC owner, you are basically renting the unit. To deposit a unit into II, you must own the unit.

Plus, II makes it very difficult for CI owners to deposit their unit into II. A CI owner must have another II resort and then they can ( with some trouble) add CI to their lists of resorts owned.
