You can add resorts to your existing membership by calling II. They will require a fee to add another resort or you can pay for a year extension of membership. You will then see both resorts in your account for searching or exchanging purposes. It is fun to compare what you can "see" with the different resorts in your account. In a very few cases, a resort will require you to have a separate II account for just that resort, but the resort usually pays for the II fee in this case.
One thing to watch out for is that all deeds on the account must match exactly. In other words, if one timeshare is in your name, but the other is in both your name and your spouse's name, II will probably make you have two separate accounts. I've run into that problem, so I have two accounts for now. I haven't gotten around to redeeding the timeshares that are in just my name (and I might sell them instead of bothing to redo the deeds.)
